Training For Employment
Thinking of a career as security guards in United Kingdom, but do not have security Industry Authority (SIA) license to work or you need to do Top-up training to renew your expired SIA license to enable you continue working as a security guard.

Mandatory Requirement
To work as a Security guard in the United kingdom or if you are interested in working in any sector of the security industry be it Door supervisor, CCTV operator or as a Static security guard, you will need to obtain a security industry authority (SIA) qualification that will authorise you to work as a guard or operative in any sector of the security industry.
To obtain this SIA qualification, you will need to attend and complete 7 days approved training course. The aim of the course is to increase the skills and professionalism of those employed in the security industry and to raise the standard of performance.
When you complete the course and received your certificate, you can then apply for the SIA Licence badge and if approved, you can start work immediately as a security guard in any sector of the security industry badge approved for you.

Non UK Citizens
The security training is also structured to support and accommodate non-English speaking EU member as well as commonwealth countries interested in working as a security guard in United Kingdom.

Top-up Training Course
Level 2 Door Supervision and Level 2 Static security Top-Up
If you are still interested in working as a security guard in the United Kingdom and your SIA badge has expired, then it is now mandatory for Door Supervisor to do a 2 days Top-up training course that will enable SIA to renew your expired SIA badge. While the Static security guard will need to do 1 day Top-up training course before the SIA badge can be renewed.
The mandatory Top-up training programme is designed to support and bring up to date the skills and professionalism of all security guards who are currently holding a licence from the Security Industry Authority.

WORK EXPERIENCE
EGUARDS training package was designed and tailored to employ the newly trained guards immediately after their various training to develop their skills and enhance their capabilities for high performance at the workplace.
This strategy gives the guards the work experience needed to perform their tasks efficiently and the job references for future employment with other security employers across the United Kingdom thereby eliminating the “work experience requirement” faced by newly trained security guards who find it difficult to get job after their SIA training.
